You probably have heard of the 36 views of the Mt. Fuji by Hokusai before, or at least you know the most famous piece of the series: the Great Wave off Kanagawa. The work of the master of ukiyo-e has inspired plenty of artist to create series of prints on a topic or a place. For example, the 36 views of Notre-Dame of Paris or the 36 views of the Eiffel tower.

Japanese artist and illustrator Shinji Tsuchimochi took upon a larger series to explore a much larger space: Tokyo. With subtle colors that will remind you of traditional Japanese prints, he shares glimpses of Tokyo and includes cute characters every now and then. You can discover part of the series on this post, and more on the artist’s Behance page.
