A font that looks just like you: a typographic photobooth

Type designers often try to make analogies between fonts and people or other objects, for example “if fonts were humans” or “dogs as typefaces“. Mary Huang took this idea one step further, she created a software that turns your face into a font. Basically, what this program does is to translate your facial dimensions to turn it into a custom font. Check out the project on this page.







This is great but kind of freaks me out a little, really gets you thinking what your own will look like, even more interesting if it could read what you were thinking throughout the day! So guessing there would be more oval shaped letters if you we’re male that is.
