Very Very Creative.
Brilliant minds.
Love this, prefer the interactive ones, like The Economist in this list.
Thanks for the wrap up!
Great stuff! Really inspired! The Economist one is well-thought and executed!
Awesome!! Great inspiration
Great ad showcasing
Very cool, and very inspiring. But c’mon – how many of these are photoshopped? I see several tell-tale signs…
None of these compare to the billboard done by Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio.
very strong ideas thanks for share
Having clicked on the Ikea billboard link I found some interesting and quite innovative ways for Ikea to brand their product. Love the studio apartment in a box.
Great fun – thanks for bringing it all together.
meant to say – when does a billboard like these become ambient media – or is ambient just a ‘marketing’ term that has no real value?
Loved this, simple ideas are the best. Thank you for posting
Brilliant and Funny.
Designs like these really leave an impression and help the brands enormously.
Quite a few of these boards represent the best out of home has to offer – compelling creative that effectively communicates. However several of these boards represent significant missed opportunity. Exceptional “clutter busting” creative that does little to no work in articulating a connection with a Brand or call to action. Considering the investment (financial and other resources), it’s a shame to see some of these efforts fall short of real advertising excellence.
The McDonalds ‘M’ looks like a pitchfork, great connotation.
Bravo, not just to the creatives, but to the clients who recognize that creatively going the extra mile can pay big dividends relative to exposure and share of mind.
Thanks for posting – I’m feeling a bit more creative today as a result
Very nice work- good to see ‘traditional’ advertising flex its muscles.
really they are awesome bill boards
thanks!!!
……….
Law and Order, Lego, Strong Tape…. These are fantastic. Nice List.
Spectacular choice. The Economist gave a wow and the gym a big laugh, though I haven’t decided which one is my fav.
I like to see this kind of creativity. You can do a lot with a sign. The McDonalds sign is brilliant.
wow, just wow, i wish i was that creative
advertisng (like fashion) is designed to create a mood, not to inform, thats why these ads work.
The McDonalds one with the sun dial is fantastic!
I loved some of the billboards. Ikea, strong tape (very Funny), MacDonalds Breakfast clock, and Chevy’s electric car. Thanks
Nice!!
