"My advice is to aim to give a product or performance in public that is 80% to 90% within the full scope of your abilities."

I can attest to this statement by coming to the same conclusion myself only a few months ago. I found that my work would go quickly and I would be in that "zone" until it was almost complete. Then the project would languish in near-completion for twice the amount of time it took to get to the 90% mark. Of course, these percentages are only in your mind. Onlookers would say it looked great, and finished. It was my mind that was blocking it from going any further. Now that I accept a small margin of "imperfection" I can complete many more projects with a clear mind that I've done my best in the time alloted.

Well, I think to do lists are extremely helpful. I like Daily To Do Lists the best and I came across this site a few days ago which I thought was extremely nice for making Online To Do Lists (theres the link). I noticed you didn't mentioned making a Daily To Do anywhere, but I think that's very important because it establishes some timeframe (within the day) but not to specific a one like assigning an actual time does.
