I believe the don’t throw baby away infographic is real. I think it’s from Nebraska. Apparently, it became such a problem there that they dedicated a whole campaign to–”If you don’t want your kid, drop them off at the hospital. don’t dump them in the garbage.” You used to be able to ditch any of your kids as long as they were under the age of 18 at hospitals in Nebraska and not face criminal charges…
This story kinda ties in with that.
