When designing their portfolio, graphic designers have to make a decision on how they will present their work. Should they take pictures of their work, give a flat representation of the layout, or use mockups to save time and still make it look more real?
In my opinion, mockups are the best way to show off your work in terms of time invested vs end result. Photos of the work can be good too, but they require you to be a good photographer and take more time.
In the case of brochures, they are often even harder to present in a portfolio than, for example, business cards or books. For this reason, I’m sharing some free PSD brochure mockups in this post that will make your portfolio look better and save you a lot of time.
