Talk about thinking out of the box. Simin Qiu, who studies design at the London Royal College of Arts, had a great idea for saving water through “simple” design changes. He imagined a new design for faucets to make patterns in the flowing water, these pattern make it so that there is about 15% less water coming out.

The more technical among you can check the image with explanations on how the turbines style and design will change the pattern, for others you’ll just enjoy the gorgeous pictures of water patterns. For the water saving part, I’m not so sure it would be efficient though. If I had this at home I think I’d just watch run for hours.
