Android devices design before and after the iPhone/iPad

You may love or hate Apple, but it is hard to argue that their products are beautifully designed. Actually, they are more than beautifully designed, they are innovative and influence the way other products in the same industry are designed.
Apple’s influence is really blatant with two of their products: the iPhone and the iPad. The images illustrating this post show some phones and tablets before and after the launches of the iPhone and iPad. Do I really need to add anything?

Horrible comparison for the android devices. You’re comparing two completely different phones, and user interfaces that never had similarities regardless the iPhone launch. Different user experiences call for different interfaces.
I feel like you might be trying to hard with this.

I am neutral with all this jumbo that’s been flooding my news source but I have to say, there is a huge difference in look between the old and new gadgets. I just wish this whole thing would be resolved so that my Zite news will be full of funny animal videos like the pre android apple death suit days.
So you’re saying that over time, electronic devices will have larger screens and get thinner and lighter? That’s been happening for long before the iPhone.
Wait, how are these a comparison of Android phones before and after the iPhone when the Android OS came out after the iPhone?
Also, it would have helped if the author used Android phones to compare instead of Windows mobile phones.
Apple, to me, is “designing” ripoffs of anything Bang & Olufsen designs.
First: Android came out AFTER the iPhone, so you can’t compare Android devices of before.
Second: In the second picture there are Windows devices.
You should get informed before you write such an article!
