Books turned into sculptures by Jacqueline Rush Lee

There are many artists who work with old books and do amazing things with it. Some cut them, other draw in the books, and there are many other ways to create art from book.

So far I haven’t seen anything like Jacqueline Rush Lee’s art. She takes old books and turn them into amazing sculptures, still lives that are frozen in the air. She fossilizes the books using some secret techniques, and the result is quite stunning.
