Born in 1952 in New Haven, Paul Kirchner is a famous comics author who is mostly known for his strip The Bus in Heavy Metal in the seventies and eighties. He also got some fame for his illustrative work and advertising drawings, so he stopped creating comics in the nineties. In 2013, he started working for the press again and published occasional comics.

This recent work can be found in a new book: The Bus 2, which was published by Tanibis in October 2015. You can get a first taste of the delightful absurdity you’ll find in the book with a few strips that you’ll see in this post.
