The promoters of 3D printing often promise a new industrial revolution. After watching this presentation by Behrokh Khoshnevis, one may wonder if an architectural revolution may also come.

Khoshnevis, a University of South California professor, presented his research at TedX Ojai. His vision of a future made of 3D printed houses is quite spectacular. According to him, the houses will be built much quicker, cheaper, and in a safer way. Even better, this building technique should allow more creativity by making new structures possible.
