TypeVoice is a web app that can turn your voice into a unique typeface. It takes your voice’s pitch, volume, and wave frequency, then changes the typeface accordingly.

Technically speaking, TypeVoice uses your computer’s microphone to capture your voice (obviously), makes some complex calculations with your voice’s data, then creates the SVG typeface using the GreenSock library. So far, it works only on the most recent versions of Google Chrome and Firefox.

TypeVoice is the project of Chris Rowson, who is creative director at Ogilvy New York. He submitted it to theWebby Awards, so if you like it, you can go give it a vote here.
