Why Monotype Imaging should hire a new PR firm
I just received a press release for FontExplorer X Server solution, which is available online. Although I don’t need it, the product seem interesting and I’m glad to hear about it.
Unfortunately, the PR firm who announced this doesn’t seem to know much about typography, and the email had a signature using… Comic Sans MS. I know that this can sound like a jerky comment, but I wonder how a PR firm can communicate right if the people working in it don’t have a basic understanding of the industry of their client.
