Most business cards, even well-designed ones, don’t make much of an impression when you hand them to people you meet. People usually just acknowledge that they got your contact information and thank you for it, but they barely look at the card.

MobileCG found a good way to get their business cards noticed, they turned it into a small device that can measure your pulse rate. You can use it by simply placing your thumbs on the designated areas, just take a look at the video to see it in action.

As they wrote on the card, it obviously doesn’t replace a medical diagnostic. It you are a bit geeky, you’ll be interested in checking out the technology, thanks to the open source release of the code on GitHub.
