These pages are extracted from a graphic design magazine that was published in 1901 in Japan. The magazine was titled Shin-Bijutsukai and regularly published illustrators work.

It’s interesting to notice that the inspiration you can get from this type of publication is in some way the same, there wasn’t just as much content all the time. The inspiration already came from research in lines, shapes, patterns, textures, and colors.
