Since we are the 07/07/07, a blog post about the 7 wonders of the world would have been more appropriate, but since I am writing this as part of the “Three” blog project organized by Daniel of Daily Blog tips, I want to focus on the more designer-friendly wonders. These are not my favourites, but I think that they are the most insteresting for a designer.

I don’t know the results at the time I am writing this, but I sincerely hope the following items have been picked.

1. Sydney Opera House

I don’t think that there is a real need to explain this one. The architects of this building are pure geniuses, and it is one of the only modern buildings that has a chance become one of the seven new wonders of the world.

2. Easter Island Statues

If those are picked, it would be rewarding one of the most famous (but unknown) cartoonists of the world. Come on, don’t you love these statues?

3. The Acropolis

If you ever designed with a grid, you have to love this building. Le Corbusier would have voted for it for sure.
