Don’t forget…

Advertising billboard hacking is probably my favourite form of street art. The project “Don’t forget…”, photographed in a subway station in Berlin, is a good reminder of how fake the advertisements you see in your streets and magazines are. The artists simply pasted some photoshop interface boxes and tools to remind that the photos were heavily airbrushed.

All I can say is that this is awesome. I wish people were doing that here.
These people are still seen as valdals and its still illegal right? But I really dig this. Life is too short to miss out on humour like this.
Way cool to the street artists
Even more impressive would be if the advertiser did this themselves as part of the ad. I think the ‘hacking’ is very clever, but it would be interesting to see advertisers not only acknowledge it, but counter it.
nice works thanks..

This is really cool!
This is brilliant! Thanks for sharing…
That is fantastic! I think we forget sometimes that those photos are airbrushed and we get those unrealistic standards of beauty in the back of our minds. This is awesome though. I love the take on our society. Very nice.
are you sure this is real.
looks a bit like someone has posted this as an in situe piece.
however it is still an awesome idea if it were a genuine poster hack.

As much as i love this piece of street art, i wonder how relevant it is to anyone else but designers/creatives?
