Studio AKB, based in Toronto in Canada, made a little open library for the people of the town of Newmarket. When closed, it looks just like a little box, but when the doors are open it turns into something much more inviting.
The project, appropriately titled Story Pod, is meant as a place for book exchange and a perfect place to relax and read books. The open doors mimic an open book and are closed for the nights. A project that I’d love to see pop-up in more cities.
