If you were an astronomer or a star lover, you would already know that light pollution is a big problem in cities. Thierry Cohen, a french photographer, decided to show city people what they are missing. He took pictures of cities when light wasn’t an issue, then took pictures of the stars in desert places with corresponding angle and latitude. The result looks surreal and totally makes you regret not seeing the stars. Via Smithsonian magazine.
