Emiliano Aranguren, a designer from Argentina, created this cool images by taking quotes and turning it into typographic pictures.

An illustrated poster that was created by The Empire for the movie The Double. The creation process is also quite interesting. The sketching was made in illustrator, then shades and textures were added in Photoshop. Finally, an illustrator was hired to give the handdrawn feeling.

Chicks & Type is a beautiful illustration project by Simone Massoni. It takes the shape of popular fonts, then use some vintage pin-up illustrations whose style matches the font. I love almost everything about this project: the choice of fonts, the illustrations and the use of colors/textures.
